In the original Beetlejuice, Winona Ryder starred alongside Alec Baldwin, Glenn Shaddix, Geena Davis, Keaton, Catherine O’Hara, Jeffrey Jones, and others. It followed the story of a shadowy spirit who helped a recently deceased couple evict a dysfunctional family who moved into their homes. But the plot of the Beetlejuice sequel is unknown.
On Thursday, Winona Ryder was seen sporting black hair with a matching black outfit. She was sitting in the passenger seat of the car while they were filming for the upcoming Tim Burton movie. It is expected that Ryder will reprise her role as Lydia Deetz from the original Beetlejuice.

Several publications previously also reported that Jenna Ortega is in talks with the production to play Lydia’s daughter in the upcoming sequel. Last week, it was also reported that Monica Bellucci has signed on to play Betelgeuse’s wife in Tim Burton’s film, while Michael Keaton will reprise his titular role.
