Dahaad Movie Review: The Plot
Dahaad tells the story of Anjali Bhaati, who is a top police officer from a lower caste. In a little town in Rajasthan called Mandawa, she was given a case about a girl who is missing. People are saying that she ran away with a Muslim guy and took a bunch of valuable things with her.
This case is being handled by the police station in Mandawa. Anjali is in charge of the investigation and working with her bosses, Devilal Singh and Kailash Parghi, to solve the case together. The police found out that many girls from different places in Rajasthan ran away with people they didn’t know. They saw that the stories of the girls who were gone were very similar to each other.
Anjali looked into it and found out that the missing girls killed themselves by eating a poisonous substance called cyanide. The police think that Anand Swarnakar might have done something wrong, but they don’t have enough proof to arrest him yet. At the same time, Anand makes plans to fool the police and make them think he did not do anything wrong. Dahaad is about if Anjali and her team can catch Anand Swarnakar doing something wrong.

Dahaad Movie Review: Cast & Crew
Dahaad’s performance is amazing. The moviemakers picked an actor who hadn’t acted a complex role in a while, but they encouraged her and let her know that she could do very well in it. Sonakshi Sinha is very good at acting and makes it look easy while playing the main character, Anjali. Anjali is a complicated character, but Sonakshi acts as her easily and with skill. Sonakshi portrays a woman who is leading many important causes because of her social status, and Vijay Varma played his role really well.
In the movie Dahaad, he acts as someone who kills many people. Even though he is playing a bad guy, this new role is very different from his old role as Hamza in Darlings. The way he writes his character makes people scared even if he doesn’t kill anyone on screen. The thought of him using his smarts to harm others is scary but also interesting. The movie gets really exciting as Vijay Varma acts really well and keeps the audience interested.
Sohum Shah has a hard time making a decision in his role in Dahaad, and many people can relate to his struggles. Even though he is very good at what he does, he doesn’t want to be better than everyone else and prefers to be more quiet and humble. But, he is doing really well and people notice how good he is. At the same time, Gulshan Devaiah did a great job playing the main officer. The actor likes when his character gets some alone time at home, away from the busy police station.
