Gajendra Chauhan on Adipurush: Gajendra Chauhan, renowned for his role in the television series “Mahabharat,” has strongly criticized the creators of the film “Adipurush.” In a recent statement, he revealed that despite purchasing a ticket for the movie, he chose not to watch it. Chauhan’s disapproval reflects his dissatisfaction with the film and suggests that he holds reservations regarding its content or production. This outspoken reaction from the esteemed actor adds a layer of controversy to the release of “Adipurush,” generating discussions and debates among both fans and industry insiders.
Gajendra Chauhan on Adipurush:
The release of the film “Adipurush” has sparked a flurry of criticism, with numerous individuals expressing their disapproval of the Om Raut-directed project. The film has faced backlash for its weak dialogues and subpar visual effects, prompting the filmmakers to revise certain lines in response to the strong public backlash.
Joining the chorus of dissent is Gajendra Chauhan, the former chairman of the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) and a well-known actor who portrayed the iconic role of Yudhishthir in BR Chopra’s TV series “Mahabharat.” Chauhan recently shared his thoughts on the film, revealing that despite purchasing a ticket, he has refrained from watching it in order to maintain his convictions. Additionally, he criticized the filmmakers, suggesting that they intend to corrupt future generations.
“Adipurush” is an adaptation of the revered Hindu epic, Ramayana, and enjoyed a strong opening at the box office. Released nationwide in Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Tamil, the film features Prabhas as Raghav (Ram), Kriti Sanon as Janaki (Sita), and Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh (Raavan). However, it witnessed a significant decline in box office collections just a few days after its release.
Gajendra Chauhan’s Statement on Adipurursh:
In a conversation with media portal, Gajendra Chauhan explained his decision not to watch the film, stating, “I had booked a ticket to watch this film, but my conscience refused to accept that I should go and watch it in the theatre. After seeing everything in the trailers and short clips, I realized that this film is not worth it. I don’t want to compromise my beliefs. I want to see Lord Ram as Lord Shri Ram.”
Chauhan further criticized the film’s dialogue writing, stating, “This is a product of low thinking. You write the way you think. Manoj Muntashir, who is a lyricist, was given the job to write dialogues for the film. He has copied things from different sources and made a mess. He is too egotistical. He hasn’t achieved an inch of what Rahi Masoom Raza Saab had written in ‘Mahabharat’.”
Adipurush Tickets Price Fall:
