Star Cast of Haunted Mansion:
The movie stars like LaKeith Stanfield, Tiffany Haddish, and Danny DeVito being tormented by Jared Leto’s Hatbox Ghost. While most of the trailer sees the lead characters going through terrifying events, a scene of Stanfield and DeVito in a police station highlights the laughs that will also provide the cast of Haunted Mansion.
About Haunted Mansion:
Like the previous Haunted Mansion teaser trailer, the latest trailer shows a troop of characters fighting ghosts inside the Haunted Mansion. It appears that the group is having trouble even leaving the mansion, as the Hatbox Ghost wants to keep their souls there forever. The spooky aspect of the Haunted Mansion is also highlighted in the latest trailer, as the characters are forced to face creepy ghosts and experience possession as they try to escape.

Haunted Mansion director Justin Simien has previously teased several haunted locations in the film. Even though the eponymous mansion will be the focus of the film, it looks like the film’s ghosts may reach beyond its main home. The police station scene at the end of the Haunted Mansion trailer indicates as much, when Stanfield and DeVito see the Hatbox ghost before entering the mansion.
While Haunted Mansion will be a reboot of the film from 2003, Simien hopes to avoid the mistakes of Eddie Murphy’s The Haunted Mansion, which critics believed took the concept too seriously. Given the horror-comedy nature of Haunted Mansion, it seems likely that the film will be faithful to the original ride while providing a fun time for moviegoers. Haunted Mansion will be revealed only after the film releases on July 28.
