After playing a con artist in his Prime Video series Farzi, Shahid Kapoor is “Bloody Daddy” in his upcoming film with the same name. The first teaser of the Ali Abbas Zafar directorial was shared by Shahid on social media on Thursday. Bloody Daddy is the official adaptation of the 2011 French film Nuit Blanche.

The actor took to Instagram on April 13 to share the teaser of his next film Bloody Daddy, which is helmed by Tiger Zinda Hai’s Ali Abbas Zafar. The action thriller will see Shahid in a rugged avatar killing several goons.

The upcoming project is the first collaboration between Ali Abbas Zafar and Shahid Kapoor. The teaser is on top when it comes to action and Shahid’s astonishing acting skills, raising huge expectations among the fans. The gripping video begins with Shahid in a black suit entering a dark corridor of a hotel, and then proceeds to mow down the goons with a knife. The action then moves to show how his character aims for revenge over a personal crisis. The teaser also gives glimpses of Sanjay Kapoor and Ronit Roy, who are seen representing the mafia, while Rajeev Khandelwal and Diana Penty are on the side of the good team.
All about bloody daddy:
Presented by Jio Studios in association with Zafar’s AAZ Films, Offside Entertainment and The Vermilion World, the film is billed as a “stylish relentless action-packed ride”. The drama is set for a direct-to-digital release on June 9.
Shahid Kapoor had a lot of fun while shooting for Bloody Daddy. “It was great fun. I had a great time doing an action film, I really enjoyed working with Ali. He understands the genre very well. But doing something, on OTT, what do you do on the big screen?
Kapoor also said that his experience in dance helped him understand action choreography better.
